As enticing as the topic is to debate I would like to avoid that.

Let me clear up a few things off the bat for the people who did not play publish 16 [power scroll uor era] on OSI

Publish 15 is what most UOR clones aim for, Publish 16 had a lot of neat features trammies loved, pet skill gain, bonded pets and a bunch more. So at this point in player run UO we have a shitload of publish 15 servers with most of publish 16 on them as well except power scrolls of course.

Publish 15, Publish 16 and Publish 17 are all very different ERAS of UO and Pub 16 is not to be confused with Pub 17.

I was able to get 15 Defiance players to support this idea that all played pretty much daily and as we all know that is easily half the server these days. Sadly every bank sitting staff hated the idea so despite A+ debate skills the thread was locked for no reason except staff hate power scrolls and me.

If any of you read the classic server thread on stratics that was going on this year you would have seen that around 50-60 people voted for Publish 16, of course t2a era won by a landslide so those 50 some players willing to pay OSI 15 bucks a month would most likely find out about us pretty damn quickly if we supported that. I know this is all in theory but that is what 65ish new players give or take a few.

Anyone who played the ERA on OSI fucking loved it, anyone who said otherwise seemed to be lying to me and couldn't support why they disliked it with any reason at all.

This is the era of UO that peaked OSIs subscriptions.
This is the era of UO that brought life back into fel after a year+ of Trammel bullshit.

A few basic 'balance' ideas to ensure a long life for this system.

-You must use a +5 swords before a +10 swords
-Before using a +5 your account must be 3 months old, before using a +10 at least 6 months old
-One champ spawn, Deciet this = no guard running, no easy escape.

I know we came up with a few more ideas, I'll gladly edit them in later.
